This dress is what inspired me to want to wear red in my wedding. I bought a red gown very similar to this one, but in the end I gave up my red wedding dress dream to make my mother in law happy.... Live and learn.

I once told The Ped about the story of you not wearing the red dress. We were in the pub, we'd had a few beers, maybe some rum. The Ped got quite indignant about it all actually and suddenly shouted - I quote - "She should just have said 'Mutter von austin, ich gebe nicht ein scheiße ich will ein rotes hemd kleid!'"
There's not much you can say to an angry German, so I just bought him another beer at that point.
This gown is absolutely gorgeous! :-} I love gowns of all types, myself. And the story of the "Mutter von Austin" is hilarious. The pics I have seen of your wedding, though, you looked beautiful Girlie!
