Its a girl!

I had my NT (Nuchal Translucency) ultrasound on Friday. Both ultrasound technicians said they were pretty sure that our baby is a girl. I saw the three lines! Yay! Above is an ultrasound picture of her profile. I think I'm in love.

Missy Higgins

We went to see Missy Higgins on Saturday night in La Jolla. She is extremely popular in Australia (several #1 hits), where she is from. Seems over here in the states relatively few people have heard of her. She is currently doing a mini tour with bestselling author Harlan Coben. They talked openly about song writing/book writing in between performances of her songs, and afterwards they signed autographs. After this she is touring back in Australia where all of her concerts are already sold out.

My favorite song of hers is included in my playlist at the bottom of the page. Its called "They Weren't There"... Beautiful!

Love, Missy

This is Capucine - my favorite little French girl. Why can't all children be this cute?

Even though I'm already married, I still love to look at wedding dresses. I doubt I will ever tire of them. I love this one. This dress is what inspired me to want to wear red in my wedding. I bought a red gown very similar to this one, but in the end I gave up my red wedding dress dream to make my mother in law happy.... Live and learn.

Frying Pan Method

Attention All Wives

Have you ever wondered whether your husband enjoys his time away from you a little too much?

Do you get the feeling your husband would rather go to the local pub rather than come home to you?

Has your husband expressed an interest in divorce? Or at least subtly hinted at it once or twice?

If you answered yes to any of these questions, you are not alone! Many women around the world are coping with the same problems. Advice columns are littered with letters from worried wives who want to know: How can I keep my husband coming home night after night and at the same time not change anything about me? Is there any hope? The answer is yes! Millions of dollars worth of research has been conducted and a solution has finally been found.

Similar to the way Pavlov tricked dogs into salivating at the sound of a bell, you too can trick your husband into wanting to come home. Yes, it sounds too good to be true, but it isn't. In fact, its incredibly simple. In just 5 minutes a day, you can save your marriage!!

The Frying Pan Method

You will need:

Frying Pan
Butter
Garlic

Directions: Heat the pan to medium heat. Add a tablespoon of butter to the pan. Chop a clove of garlic. Add garlic to pan. Saute the garlic. Breathe in, but don't breathe in too much. This aroma is the key to successfully tricking your husband and you don't want to waste it on yourself. Find a dishtowel and start fanning the aroma toward the front door.

Do this every evening 5 minutes before your husband is due to come home. After about 2 weeks your husband will start to subconsciously associate coming home with the wonderful scent heaven that greets him at the door each day.* Your husband will begin to experience strong internal longings to go home whenever the thought of home pops into his head. If he vocalizes these feelings to you you should try to assure him that what he is experiencing is a perfectly normal side effect of his growing love for you. When he acts in harmony with his new feelings praise and encourage him, reward him with a flash of your cleavage or bottom (whichever he prefers). If his frequent presence at home starts to irritate you, do not get upset and scold him; instead praise yourself because you have followed the Frying Pan Method correctly.

*DISCLAIMER: The majority of men started showing results at 2 weeks. Some men, however, took up to a month to start showing progress. If you suspect your husband has a low IQ he may take a little longer than 2 weeks.
Testimonials

"My husband used to go to the pub every night before coming home. Sometimes he wouldn't come home till 2 a.m. Now hes home every evening at 5:15 p.m. sharp. Not only does he come home on time every night, hes there with a smile and flowers! Its like falling in love all over again." - Christine, Wellington, NZ

"Our marriage was on the rocks. After a heated argument, my husband finally served me divorce papers. I knew I had to take action fast. After discovering the Frying Pan Method, I immediately went to the grocery store. After 2 weeks of faithfully following it, my husband was a changed man. At 3 1/2 weeks he got down on one knee and proposed renewing our vows. After that he tearfully fed the divorce papers to the paper shredder! Thank you for saving our marriage!!" - Buttercup, Florin, Italy
